I run training workshops on social media marketing and one of the most common reactions I have encountered is this: “I am not sure I will have something interesting to blog about on a daily basis”.

Granted, that is a valid concern. Who wants to be seen as a blathering idiot? Nevertheless, you may be a lot more interesting than you assume. People often tend to underestimate themselves.

The risk of being an occasional blogger is severe: users will stop checking your blog. You run the risk of being out of their sight and consequently out of their mind. Strike one against marketing.

Besides, once you get started, inspiration usually flows.
